What we collect

When you send an RFQ we receive your name, work email, company, destination country, optional phone number, the part details and services you enter and the files you upload. When a shop registers we receive its company and contact details plus machine and capability information.

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to count visits and form submissions.

Why we collect it

To do the thing you asked for: read your request, pass it to machine shops that can quote it and, if you ask for them, audit a shop and manage your order. We do not use it for anything else and we do not add you to a marketing list.

Who sees your RFQ

Shops that fit first see a short preview: part type, material, size, quantity, tolerance, shipping terms and deadline. The preview carries no name, company, contact details or files.

Your contact details and files go only to the shops we shortlist for your request, 3 at most, and only after you tick the consent box on the form. We do not sell your details to anyone else.

NDA requests

If you tick the NDA box, shops see only the preview until one has signed an NDA with you. Files are released after that.

Third parties we use

  • FormSubmit, which delivers the form and its attachments to our inbox.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts and serves this site.
  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, for page and conversion counts.

How long we keep files

We keep RFQs and drawings for 12 months from your last contact with us, so we can handle follow-up questions and repeat orders. After that we delete them.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted. Email and we act within 30 days. Shops that already received your RFQ hold their own copy under their own policies, so ask them directly as well.

Cookies

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics set cookies. You can block them in your browser without affecting the forms.
